How to Get Rid of Visceral Fat: The Paleo Diet or the Hunter-Gatherer Diet Increases Fat Burning


Visceral fat or belly fat is extremely unhealthy and increases the risk of diabetes, heart disease, and many other health problems. Studies have shown that the paleo diet is effective in reducing belly fat.

There is a growing body of evidence to suggest that a paleo diet is effective for weight loss.

In one study, 14 healthy medical students were asked to follow a paleo diet for three weeks.

During the study, they lost an average of 5.1 pounds (2.3 kg) and reduced their waistlines by 0.6 inches (1.5 cm).

Interestingly, some studies comparing the paleo diet and traditional low fat diets have found that the paleo diet is more effective at losing weight, even with similar calorie intakes.

In a study published in the Library of Health, the paleo diet for causing strong tissue-specific effects on ectopic fat deposition in obese women was analyzed.

The accumulation of ectopic fat in the liver and skeletal muscles may be a critical link between abdominal obesity, insulin resistance, and an increased risk of cardiovascular disease after menopause, the study noted.

He added: “We hypothesized that a diet containing a relatively high content of protein and unsaturated fat [mainly monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs)] but limited carbohydrates and saturated fats would reduce the fat content of the liver and muscles and increase insulin sensitivity in postmenopausal women. ”

The study found that on average, they experienced a reduction of eight cm (three inches) in waist circumference, which is an indicator of belly fat, and an overall weight loss of around 10 pounds (4 , 6 kg).

The paleo diet is one of the most popular diets.

It consists of whole, unprocessed foods and mimics how hunter-gatherers ate.

Proponents of the diet believe it may reduce the risk of modern health problems, pointing out that hunter-gatherers do not face the same illnesses people do today, such as obesity, diabetes, and disease cardiac.

The diet promotes the consumption of whole, unprocessed animal and plant foods such as meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, fruits, seeds and nuts.

He avoids processed foods, sugar, dairy, and grains, although some alternative versions of the paleo diet allow options like dairy and rice.

Unlike most diets, a paleo diet does not involve counting calories. Instead, it restricts the above food groups, all of which are major sources of calories in the modern diet.

By reducing certain food groups and increasing others, you may be able to burn your belly fat and reduce the amount of visceral fat you carry.
